Board History
The Schell-Vista Fire Protection District was formed in 1955, having grown from the Schell-Vista Fire Department which was started in 1942.
The board was comprised of three volunteer members for fifty-six years, 1955-2011. It increased to a five volunteer board members 2012. The board members today are server a four year term.
